Taxi Camera CCTV Recording Reduces Crime
There is nothing worse than feeling threatened in your own workplace. But what if your workplace is your taxi? New research has shown that new taxi camera CCTV recording actually reduces crime and therefore keeps you safe.
Picture the scene. You come out of a nightclub with a group of your girl friends. You decide that the best thing to do is to walk up to the nearest taxi rank and get a taxi together. That way you can save a bit of money and you can have a real giggle on the way home. One of your friends isn't feeling too well but she probably just needs her bed so you need to get her home as soon as possible. You get to the taxi rank and there is one waiting. Your poorly friend doesn't want to get in the cab but after 10 minutes of persuasion you manage to get her. All the way home you fill in the driver with stories of the night and songs you were singing. Once you pay the bill you think you've been short changed. You were sure you had a twenty in your purse and the driver gave you change from a ten. This understandably is frustrating and it isn't until you've given him a real mouthful and threatened him that you remember you used your twenty for the last round of drinks.
This story may seem like a one off to you but to the taxi driver, that is the sort of abuse that he gets every single night, sometimes several times a night. Thankfully this group of girls weren't violent like many others. In situations like this, taxi drivers should feel safe and secure which is why in-cab CCTV was invented. In-cab CCTV is a recording system that will allow you to monitor and record everything that goes on in your taxi from both the passenger and driver point of view. You can use this system to remind passengers that they are being monitored (which often encourages good behaviour) and also that should you need to, you will use the videos as evidence.
There is no need to feel threatened in your own workplace and even though you know the risks when you become a taxi driver, that doesn't mean that they are deserved. How to connect a Cctv Camera with scart connection to a PC or Laptop?
Hi, Is it possible to connect a CCTV camera with a scart connection to a PC or Laptop, I am sure there is a lead available like a Scart - Phono or something, I want to connect the camera to a Laptop to record the images/Video via a USB dazzle capture card.

Funnily enough, I've got one that I don't need! We bought it to connect the cable tv box to the PC so we could watch TV on the PC but the picture came out black and white so we gave up and bought a TV, but they won't let us return the connector as the packaging was destroyed.
